Revenue share
You keep 70% of the value of every coin players put into your games. The arcade keeps 30% for hosting, payments, fraud checks and the neon bill.
The maths#
- 1 coin = $0.25 of value, whatever pack the player bought it in.
- You set coins per credit (1 to 5) for each game.
- For each insertion you earn 70% of its value, in whole cents, rounded down.
| COINS PER CREDIT | PLAYER SPENDS | YOU EARN (70%) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 coin | $0.25 | $0.17 |
| 2 coins | $0.50 | $0.35 |
| 3 coins | $0.75 | $0.52 |
| 4 coins | $1.00 | $0.70 |
| 5 coins | $1.25 | $0.87 |
So a game at 2 coins per credit with 1,000 credits sold earns 1,000 × $0.35 = $350.00.
What doesn't earn#
- Test-mode insertions (previews of your own game, mock mode): they're free and never recorded.
- Replays: a retried insertion with the same idempotency key is charged and counted once.
- Failed insertions (
INSUFFICIENT_COINS,RATE_LIMITED...): nothing was debited, nothing is earned.
Where to see it#
Every insertion writes a row to your earnings ledger in the same database transaction that debits the player, so the two can never disagree. The earnings dashboard shows totals per game and per day, and exports a CSV for your accounts.
